Busyness; rumination; worry; judgement; avoidance of  difficult emotions; and social media are some of the things that can lead to disconnection from ourselves, from our own innate instinct, insight and wisdom. 

Mindfulness practices support us to reconnect or connect more deeply within, becoming more aware of the subtle messages our body and mind are telling us.  Over time, with patience and an attitude of kindness to ourselves, it can help to settle the busy mind, allowing us to connect with those parts of ourselves that can nourish and ground us, supporting us to make wiser choices for ourselves and those around us.

This deeper connection within can lead to more fulfilling connections in our relationships with loved ones, friends, colleagues, our wider community and the world!
